The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Genevieve Tekavec can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Lynne Palmer
Condolence: I first met Genevieve when I was a Eucharistic Minister to the Home Bound and was assigned to bring Communion to Tony during his illness. She was one of the most devoted Christian women I ever met. When Tony died, I was honored by the family to serve as a Communion Minister at his Funeral Mass. Genevieve and I continued to trade holiday cards and keep in touch by telephone. I just spoke with her within the past month.

To her beautiful daughters and family -- I'm sad for your loss but know that she is celebrating in Heaven rejoined with her beloved husband. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.
May God continue to grace you with His peace in this sorrowful time.
