We met Tom about 15 or so years ago when we played with and against him and others in Senior Tennis at Peachtree Tennis Club in Clinton Township, MI. We played competitively, but also for fun and exercise two or three times per week. After playing for 1 1/2 hours we would adjourn to the back room at the Club and imbibe in wine, cheese and crackers. Later, about 5 years ago we invited him to come to play Pickleball with us at the City of Fraser indoor activities center gym. He seemed to enjoy that and the camaraderie as much as he did Tennis.
We and he shared views and opinions all the time and considered him a true FRIEND.
Our sympathies go out to his family and we feel good that he seemed to live an active and fulfilling life.
