Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Reita Crawford can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Once Reita and I decided our Moms must have been reading articles by the same writer and that is how we both ended up with the unusual spelling of Reita. Al, Allison and Sheri, my heart goes out to you. Death is the hardest thing to understand, that final closing of an earthly door. While we cannot possibly understand it here on earth, I have often thought it is like the birth process--loving parents and family greeting a new arrival with such amazing and instant love, but in this case, I believe that God has prepared an even greater love to greet us when we arrive on that beautiful shore. Reita was an exceptional woman and I was fortunate to be her friend. I got to witness her never give up fighting spirit on so many occasions and she made such a difference during her tenure on this planet in so many ways. You can take great joy in that! I am so grateful Al, that we managed to meet at Jennifer's several times over the last few years, and that we had such a good time when I brought my Lost Boy son. Gabriel Kuany, to your home in Fairport. Jennifer, Julie, David, Gabriel and I embrace you tenderly with our thoughts and prayers, during this time as we ponder, even through the sorrow., the eternal glory that has dawned for Reita. I knew Mrs. Crawford as the mother of my dear classmate and friend, Shari, from St. Gabe's and Lake Catholic. She was always welcoming and gracious when I visited your home and genuinely interested in getting to know the friends of her children. I pray you find comfort in your cherished memories of her, knowing that she lived a full and abundant life, and continue to feel her presence as she joins her precious son Craig in Heaven watching over you.
