Funeral Mass for Virginia M. (Kelly) Osborne, 84, of Euclid, will be noon Saturday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 19951 Lake Shore Blvd., Euclid. (Family and friends are asked to meet at the church.) Mrs. Osborne passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. Born March 19, 1927, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Euclid for the past 55 years. She was a longtime and founding member of St. John of the Cross Church (St. Felicitas), where she was active with the P.T.U. at the church. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Isabella Guild Euclid Council. Virginia was a mother and grandmother who enjoyed attending all of her children's and grandchildren's activities and loved taking trips to Florida. Mrs. Osborne had formerly worked at Standard Oil Company in Cleveland, Sears, Roebuck and Company in Richmond Heights, and the Council on Aging at the Wickliffe Senior Center. She was the loving mother of Fay E. (Terry) O'Meara of Vernon Hills, Ill., Mary Jo (Patrick) McGraw of Wickliffe, Patrick K. (Paula) Osborne of Willoughby, Margaret A. (Michael) Gallagher of Willoughby Hills, Timothy J. Osborne of Euclid, Gerard M. (Peg) Osborne of Euclid and John K. (Aileen) Osborne of Eastlake; cherished grandmother of Ryan and Caitlin O'Meara, Mariah (Steve) Siko, Meg and Katie McGraw, Amy (Dave) Andrews, Patrick Osborne, Michael, Brian, and Kelly Gallagher, Erin and Larry Osborne, Christopher and Emily Osborne; great-grandmother of Liam Patrick; sister of Ann Harper of Alpharetta, Ga.; sister-in-law of Helen Kelly of Sarasota, Fla.; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph J. Osborne in 2008; great-granddaughter, Angela Grace; parents, Patrick and Mary (Duffin) Kelly; twin brothers, Patrick and William Kelly; sisters-in-law, Gene Osborne and Rita Russell; and brothers-in-law, Jack Russell, Bernard Osborne and Bob Harper. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
