Kathleen M. (Schiavoni) Johnson, 73, passed away Nov. 10, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Feb. 3, 1940, in Cleveland. She was a member of Amvets Post 109. She loved being a troop leader and den mother, enjoyed crocheting and cooking, but most of all, she loved being around her children and grandchildren. Survivors are her children, MaryLynn (Michael) Scaperato, Robert (Nancy), Susan Walsh, Kenneth (Patricia), and Bryan (Gina); son-in-law, JR; grandchildren, Nicole, Maria, Ashley, Michael, Joseph, Katelynn, Alexis, Scotty, Kenny, Mariah, Bobby, Rebecca, Anthony, Holly and Julie; great-grandsons, Steven, Christian, Aiden and Noah; brothers, Ronald, James, Joseph, Orlando “Chubby,” and Anthony Schiavoni; sisters, Nina Lohn and Toni Fallon; and her cat, Penny. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Mary Schiavoni; sisters, Marilyn Siskind and Abbie Jean; and brother, Charles Schiavoni. Inurment will be held in Mentor Cemetery at a later date. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
