Jamie Taylor passed away peacefully in his sleep in Mentor, with his lifetime buddy and caregiver Roger Pate; and dog, Odie at his side. He was a civil engineer for the Ohio Department of Transportation. He graduated Eastbrook High School in 1978, and was a past member of Sons of the American Legion in Van Buren, Ind. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Sheila Taylor Nichols and stepfather, Ronnie Nichols of Portland Ind.; father, Dave Taylor and stepmother, Eduroa of Van Buren, Ind.; brother, Kent Taylor of Oakland, Calif.; sister, Kelly Ward; special niece, Audree Mae Ward of Clearwater, Fla.; and aunts, Marta (Charlie) Haynes of Portland, Ind., and Doris (Louie) Smith of Plum Tree, Ind. “Jamie accepted Christ into his life before he died. He will be missed by all of us. May his soul rest in peace.
