The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James O'Hair can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I have been gone from Mentor for 26 years but I often think of the wonderful life we had there back in the 70's and 80's. Jim and I worked for the same company but became closer friends during our time in Mentor and involvement with St. Mary's Church and St. Mary's Men's Club. Oh he could sing and he wrote a ("roasting")song about me when I left for Boston back in 1984 that I still dig out and enjoy. He really was one of those people who go out of their way to help you and/or to make you laugh. He will be missed and I regret I didn't get to "catch up " with him when I do get back home. My heartfelt condolences to his family and to Jim "So long it's been good to know ya". Love, "Frankie" Tripi
