Funeral Mass for Betty J. (Udovich) Homa, 72, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Michael Troha will officiate. Mrs. Homa passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve. Born April 13, 1938, in Crucible, Pa., she was a Lake County resident for 39 years, living in Mentor. She previously lived in Euclid. A member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby, she was also a member of the Loyal Order of Foresters. She loved animals, enjoyed reading and loved to travel. Mrs. Homa was a secretary at Phillips Medical Center in Highland Heights. She was the sister of Robert (Jean) Udovic of Seneca, Pa., sister of Mary Ann (Robert) Delis of Wickliffe, twin sister of James L. (Trudi) Udovich of Kirtland, and sister of Joan M. Udovich of Carmichaels, Pa. She is also survived by nieces, a nephew, and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Homa, on Feb. 10, 2011; and parents, James and Mary (Marolt) Udovich. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. The family suggests donations in her name may be made to Hospice House of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.
