Obituary for Agnes Margaret Boback
Funeral Mass for Agnes Margaret (nee Mallin) Boback, 93, of Lake County, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Mrs. Boback passed away Nov. 26, 2016, in Eastlake.
Born Feb. 26, 1923, in Beaverdale, Pa., she had been a resident of Lake County for the past 63 years.
Agnes loved to cook, especially her soups and adored her grandkids.
Mrs. Boback had worked at Caterpillar for 25 years, as the secretary to the Vice President.
She was the loving mother of Nancy M. (Fred) Anger of Eastlake and William C. Boback of Mentor; grandmother of Tari (Bob) Hoose, Heidi (Tim) Delaney, Thomas Anger, Shaun Boback and Amy (Jason) Chapman; great-grandmother of nine; great-great-grandmother of one; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Agnes was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Boback; son, Daniel J. Boback; and 12 siblings.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Rt. 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
