The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Nancy Griffin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Nancy's Kitchen

Nancy's kitchen always had something smelling good in it when her kids were growing up.  She taught me how to make apple pie from scratch, which obviously would make your mouth water.  But she could also take foods you didn't even like and make you want to eat them (like deer meat and beets).  We took a "stretch and sew" class, and while she could sew very well, none of the kids liked the stretchy shirts we made them.  But they did love her cooking!  And don't forget the whipped cream in between two chocolate layers.  All our kids probably remeber what they were called.  Kids?
