Obituary for Valentino A Sarli

Valentino A  Sarli
Celebration of Life service for Valentino A. Sarli, 89, of Fairport Harbor, will be 7:00 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mr. Sarli passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Jan. 16, 1926, in Cleveland, he had been a longtime resident of Lake County, living in Willoughby and Mentor before moving to Fairport Harbor.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and enjoyed spending time at the Willoughby McDonalds.
He was the loving father of Valerie A. Brunkala, Joanne Vasquez, Richard A. Sarli and Susan L. Sarli; grandfather of six; great-grandfather of many; great-great-grandfather of four; brother of Michael Sarli; brother-in-law of Clara Sarli and Jeannette Sarli; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Richard Brunkala; parents, Joseph and Ann (nee Giordano) Sarli; and brothers, Dan “Dokes” Sarli, Rocco Sarli, Sam Sarli and Joseph “Pepe” Sarli; and sisters-in-law, Donna Jean Sarli Rose Marie Sarli.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
