Obituary for Robert Phillip Mitchell
Private family services were held for Robert Phillip Mitchell, 79, of Mentor-on-the-Lake.
Mr. Mitchell passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Manor Care Nursing Facility in Willoughby.
Born Dec. 28, 1935, in Brownsville, Pa., he had lived in Collinwood before moving to Lake County 14 years ago, living in Mentor-on-the-Lake.
He was the loving father of Robert T. (Gina) Mitchell, Richard W. (Sharon) Mitchell and Dwayne B. Mitchell; cherished grandfather of Bobby, Michael, Nicholas, Melissa, Stephanie, Dominic and Ricky; great-grandfather of Madia, Mikey, Natalie, Devon, Evan, Bobby and Deanna; and brother of Sandra Mitchell.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Ann (nee Baden) Mitchell in 2009; daughter-in-law, Deanna Mitchell; and parents, James W. and Norena (nee Chambers) Mitchell.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
