Obituary for Paul G. Wilson

Paul G.  Wilson
A Celebration of Life Service for Paul G. Wilson, 87, of Willowick, will be 11 a.m. Saturday
at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mr. Wilson passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Apr. 29, 1928 in Barnesboro, Penn., he had been a Lake County resident for 50 years living in Willowick.
Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Willowick American Legion Post 678, Eastlake Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3863 and a proud long time member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 678 and Local 33. He lived and breathed golf, absolutely loved golf.
He was beloved husband of 64 years to Carolyn M. “Moon” Wilson (nee Uebel); loving father of Linda S. (Thomas) McCall and Debbie J. (Vincent) Gacilos, both of Tucson, AZ and Paul G. (Debra) Wilson Jr. of Eastlake; cherished grandfather of Karrie, Ginger, T.J., Paul, Brian, Carolyn, Chris, Joyce and Mark;
great grandfather of 10; brother of Grace Kerfoot and Carol Shope; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael; great grandchildren, Ashley and Isaia; parents, Gordon and Leona (nee Gilpatrick) Wilson; and two brothers and six sisters.
Family will receive friends 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial
will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights.
