Condolence From: Fr. Mark A. Di Nardo • 02/07/11, 11:22 pm
Condolence: Jim and I were at Cathedral Latin together and would get together at reunions and between times. I would love to have been able to be part of the Memorial Services for Jim or at least to have been able to be present to you personally, but pastoral emergencies made it not possible. I will offer Mass for Jim who was a dear friend. If the family would like to call or e-mail, I'd be happy to offer an 11am Sunday Mass for him should this seem a good idea. Either way, I will offer a Mass for Jim and keep all of you in my prayers. God bless. Your dad was a good man. Fr. Mark

Condolence From: Bob McAuliffe • 02/07/11, 8:31 pm
Condolence: Please accept my prayers and condolences. Father Mark DiNardo (classmate and pastor of St. Patrick Church on Bridge avenue in Cleveland) said that he will say a Mass for Jimbo soon. We will send a copy of the Bulletin when it is scheduled. Jim was a good friend and always added humor and light conversation when we were together. I was also pleased to see Jim driving the boat at Homossasa Springs safari. We were both surprised, because I had no idea that he was there and I was visiting for only a short time! He joins many great Cathedral Latin clasmates in the hearafter. May he rest in peace. God bless us all.

Condolence: Tim & Kim, My heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your Dad. What a charactor he was when he was in the store. It's never easy losing a parent at any age. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Barb

Condolence From: Frank Tripi • 02/06/11, 1:50 pm
Condolence: I have been gone from Mentor for 26 years but I often think of the wonderful life we had there back in the 70's and 80's. Jim and I worked for the same company but became closer friends during our time in Mentor and involvement with St. Mary's Church and St. Mary's Men's Club. Oh he could sing and he wrote a ("roasting")song about me when I left for Boston back in 1984 that I still dig out and enjoy. He really was one of those people who go out of their way to help you and/or to make you laugh. He will be missed and I regret I didn't get to "catch up " with him when I do get back home. My heartfelt condolences to his family and to Jim "So long it's been good to know ya". Love, "Frankie" Tripi
