Jack J. Cooper born Feb. 20, 1957, passed away May 6, 2011, at the young age of 54, after a courageous battle with cancer, at his childhood home in Mentor. He was surrounded by the peace and love of his family. "Our Dad will be deeply remembered, as a good man who wore his heart on his shirt sleeve. His passion for the love of his family and the joy of life, led him to his dreams. His love will never be forgotten." He was the husband and best friend of Deborah S. (Von Hof) Cooper, whom he married May 27, 1979; loving father of James A. Cooper and Jennifer R. Cooper; cherished brother of Guy L. Cooper, Glenn Cooper and Bill Von Hof; and loving son of Betty L. Cooper and Odell V. Cooper. Family requests cards, filled with your most joyous loved memories be sent to 5650 French Blvd., Mentor, OH 44060. At Jack's request, a "Let's have a party!" celebration will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011. Location to be determined at Headsland Beach Park. Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
