Funeral Mass for George Slovinsky, 53, of Eastlake, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Chris Weber will officiate the Mass. Mr. Slovinsky passed away Jan. 20, 2015, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby. Born July 31, 1961, in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident for 40 years, living in Willoughby before moving to Eastlake. He loved boating, fishing, cars and motorcycles and liked to draw and paint. George was a member of the Willoughby Frontier Days Committee and a volunteer for the Louie Run Foundation. He was the beloved husband of Randy (nee Galey) Slovinsky of Eastlake; brother of Paul Michael (Tina) Slovinsky of Willoughby, Bernardo (Diane) Slovinsky of North Carolina, Steve Cawley of Mentor, Helen Slovinsky of Mentor and Rose (Robert) Novak of Willoughby; uncle of Bernardo Jr., Nick, Paul Jr., Angela, Catherine, Aven, Jessica, Jeffrey, Andrew, Amy, Sarah, Samantha, Morgan, Heather, Elizabeth, Carl and Mickey; and great-uncle of Jacob and Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Michael and Helen (nee Villani) Slovinsky. Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
