Funeral services for Charlene (nee Smith) Wallace, 59, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor.
Mrs. Wallace passed away Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born July 6, 1958, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for 45 years, living in Willoughby before moving to Mentor.
Charlene enjoyed camping and NASCAR. She also loved traveling.
She was the beloved wife of 19 years to Brent J. Wallace; loving mother of Heather A. (Kenneth) Spakes and Charae Buxton; cherished grandmother of Austin, Kayla, Caleb and Kenneth Jr.; sister of Sharon A. Smith; daughter-in-law of Doris L. Wallace; sister-in-law of Brad (Gina) Wallace, Julie (Vince) Crowley, Steve Wallace, Jay Wallace, Greg Wallace, Jeff (Amy) Wallace, Laurie (Tom) Logar and Sue Wallace (Tim Floom); and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eleanor (nee Hovanec) Smith; father-in-law, Claude J. Wallace.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
