Frederick Russel  Haines
Frederick R. Haines, 83, of Willoughby, passed away Jan. 20, 2018, at Hospice of the Western Reserve.
Born Aug. 19, 1934, in Uniontown, Pa., he was a resident of Lake County for 56 years.
Fred enjoyed hunting, classic car restoration, NASCAR racing and watching the Steelers, Indians and Cavaliers on TV. His favorite pastime was spending time with friends and family, especially his grandkids and his great-grandkids.
Mr. Haines was a retired vending machinist and a proud member of the Teamsters.
Fred was the loving father of Michelle Haines, Valerie Haines, and Russel (Michelle) Haines; cherished “Pap” to Nicole (Ryan), Nathan, Chelsea (Charles), Wayne (Daesha), Machaela, Matthew, and Alyssa; great-grand “Pap” of Taveon, Mason, TeCari, Azari, Gabby, Lilly, Charlie, Landen, Kennedy, Liam and Luka; brother to Linda, Pam, Karen and Dee; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl; parents, George and Mildred Haines; sister, Dana; and brother, Kenny.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at McMahon, Coyne, and Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. A private burial and graveside service will be held at a later date at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
