Francis P "Frank"  Manning Jr.
Funeral Mass for Frank P. “Ju Ju” Manning Jr., 82, of Toledo, will be 12 noon Friday at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 32114 Vine St., Willowick.
Mr. Manning passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, at David Simpson Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born March 24, 1935, in Cleveland, he grew up in East Cleveland and had been a resident of Toledo for the past 56 years.
Frank was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Toledo, Toledo Eagles, Toastmasters International, and the Rotary Club. He was also active with Meals-on-Wheels and helped the Salvation Army as a bell ringer. He was also a member of the Highland Meadows Golf Courses and The Toledo Club.
Mr. Manning was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a career insurance agent prior to his retirement.
He was the loving brother of Jeanette Manning, Rita Manning, Kathleen Manning, Rosie Manning and Coletta (John) DiCello; caring uncle of 23 nieces and nephews, great-uncle of 36, and great-great-uncle of 12; and brother-in-law of Patricia Manning and Carol Manning.
Frank was preceded in death by his loving parents, Francis Patrick and Ruth T. (nee O’Connor) Manning; siblings, Gene Manning, Ruth T. Manning, Donald Manning, Richard Manning, Patricia Hughes, and Mary Ellen Friend; and brother-in-law, Donald Hughes.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
