Obituary for Eleanor M. "Bonnie" Podboy

Funeral Mass for Eleanor M. “Bonnie” (nee Timko) Podboy, 86, of Willoughby will be 12 noon Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.
Bonnie passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at University Hospital Geauga Regional Hospital.
Born Sept. 16, 1930 in Cleveland, of Hungarian descent, and raised in the Buckeye area, she had been a long-time resident of Lake County. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish and the Wickliffe
Senior Center. Bonnie enjoyed watching sports, shopping and had an affection for animals.
She worked at General Electric, Podboy’s Tip Toe Inn with her husband and Wendy’s while raising their children.
Bonnie was the loving mother of Dawn M. Fenske and Richard M. (Laura) Podboy Jr.; cherished grandmother of Brandi, Nathan, and Ava; sister of Joanie Horvath; former mother-in-law of Joseph Fenske Jr.; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard M. Podboy Sr.; grandson, Matthew Joseph Fenske; parents, John and Stella (nee Drabek) Timko; and brother-in-law, Joe Horvath.
Burial will be at a later date in Mentor Cemetery.
