Richard Edgar Martin
Richard Edgar Martin, 85, of Timberlake, passed away Jan. 13, 2017, at Heartland of Willoughby.
Born March 29, 1931, in New Rochelle, N.Y., he had lived in Willoughby before moving to Timberlake 40 years ago.
He was Past Commodore (1985) of the Chagrin Lagoons Yacht Club and GCBA, and member of International Order of the Blue Gavel.
Survivors are his wife, GeorgeAnn (nee Harris) Martin; daughter, Lisa Franz; stepsons, Dean Mize and Marc Martin; grandchildren, Kelly McConnaughy, Karissa (Joe) Strailey and David (Elizabeth) Franz; and great-grandchildren, Hailey, Joshua, Kennedy, Paige, Koen, Sarah and Jillian.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn (nee Brooks); infant daughter, Amy Beth; and parents, Edgar and Ruth (Wickloff).
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery in Frostburg, Md., will be held at a later date.
