Obituary for Elaine Carmel Jean Hunter
Memorial services for Elaine Carmel Jean Hunter, 83, of Mentor, will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
Mrs. Hunter passed away July 16, 2016, in Concord Township.
Born May 13, 1933, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for the past 37 years.
Elaine was an active member of the Mentor Senior Center, where she enjoyed punch embroidery and china painting. She also liked to read, loved history and adored her grandson, Alexander.
She was the loving wife of 52 years to John Hunter; loving mother of Linda M. (Mitchell) Goodyear of Chardon; and cherished grandmother of Alexander Goodyear.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Nancy (nee Coladangelo) Silvaroli; and siblings, Nicholas and Albert Silvaroli.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the charity of your choice.
