Obituary for Nicholas B Cindric

Funeral Mass for Nicholas B. Cindric, 93, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at the church.) Fr. Tim Kalista will officiate the Mass.
Mr. Cindric passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born April 9, 1923, in Puritan, Pa., he had been a resident of Lake County for the past 48 years, living in Willoughby.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, member of the Submarine Veterans of World War II, and also a member of Palmer- Roberts American Legion Post 214 in Willoughby.
Mr. Cindric was the beloved husband of 66 years to Lydia (nee Cruciotti) Cindric; loving father of Denise (Mark) Geschke, Thomas J. Cindric, and Kathleen M. Patterson; cherished grandfather of Patrick (Becky), Michael, Jason (Corey), and Nicole; brother of Dorothy Yankora; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, David B. Cindric; parents, Thomas and Mary (nee Smargea) Cindric; and brothers, Larry and John Cindric.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his name be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
