Obituary for Kevin Anthony Lauer
Funeral Mass for Kevin A. Lauer, 49, of Mentor, will be 10 AM Saturday at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 9114 Lake Shore Blvd., Mentor. Family and friends are asked to meet at church.
Kevin passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Aug. 11, 1966 in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident for 15 years.
Kevin was a lieutenant with the Mayfield Heights Police Department until his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking.
Kevin was the beloved husband of Lisa L. (nee Vaiksnoras) Lauer; loving father of Rebecca M., Marissa A. and James A. Lauer; brother of Donald, Patrick, Thomas and Michael (Diane) Lauer; brother-in-law of Cathy Lauer; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Carol (nee Donnelly) Lauer.
The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
Donations are suggested in care of the family.
