Obituary for Nancy Anna Kot

Funeral Mass for Nancy Anna Kot, 86, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Divine Word Church, 8100 Eagle Road, Kirtland. Fr. Dave Woost will officiate the Mass.
Mrs. Kot passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, at her residence.
She was born April 14, 1930, in Cleveland.
Nancy grew up in Cleveland and attended St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary and East High School. She remained friends with her classmates throughout her life. Nancy spent her entire life in the Cleveland, Kirtland and Mentor areas. She was one of the first members and a lay minister of Divine Word Church in Kirtland, where one of her most cherished volunteering roles was working with the children at the Montessori School. She had also served as PTA President at St. Joseph Elementary School.
Nancy had careers at General Electric Nela Park and as a photographer for The Chosen Few, a Marine Corps organization.
She was the beloved wife of 64 years to Stanley Kot; loving mother to her three favorite daughters, Deborah Kot, Karen (Gary) Tabor and Donna (Joseph) Saccone, and son, Kenneth (Darla) Kot; cherished grandmother of Amy (Dan), Kelly, Kenny (Anne), Alex, Stacy (Tim), and Angela (John); great-grandmother of Travis, Jason, Allannah, Isabella, Sophia, Amelia, and Jacob; and sister of Evelyn Tuck. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen (nee Casey) Mulchrone; and siblings, John and Marty Mulchrone; and mother-in-law, Louise Benesch.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
