Obituary for Micky A "Big Mick" Sweigert
Funeral services for Micky A. “Big Mick” Sweigert, 56, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mr. Sweigert passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Aug. 11, 1959, in East Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for the past 38 years.
Micky enjoyed and loved sports, especially, baseball, golf and wrestling.
He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Jeanie A. (nee Walsh) Sweigert; loving father of Micky A. Sweigert II and John P. Sweigert; son-in-law of Vivian Walsh; brother of Fred (Donna) Sweigert, Chuck Sweigert (Roxann Neisner), and twin brother, Rick (Sharon) Sweigert; brother-in-law of Sheila Manfredi (John Savage); and uncle of Shaun, Corey, Ron, Aimee, Rachel, Pete, Phil and Annamarie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Elizabeth (nee Pinkava) Sweigert; and father-in-law, Philip Walsh.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
