Frank E  Tercek
Frank E. Tercek, passed away peacefully from this life to the next Nov. 1, 2015 (All Saints Day).
He loved his wife of 49 years, the late Alice (nee Laurich); children, Frank (Barb), Sue, Jo, Jim (Lynette), Tom (Karen), and Allee (John); 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Born in 1924, in Cleveland, he was raised by his sister, Josephine.
Frank was a 1942 graduate of Cathedral Latin School and was proud of its Marianist tradition. A World War II veteran, Frank loved his country and appreciated the freedom being an American provided. He and his wife were also founding parishioners of Divine Word Parish in Kirtland.
Mr. Tercek was a longtime employee of O’Brien Chevrolet, retiring as general manager in 1985, after more than 35 years.
Catholic Mass of Celebration will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Road, Kirtland. Family will receive guests from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church prior to the Mass. A private burial service will follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Donations in Mr. Tercek’s memory are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
