Services for Armand Rispoli, 87, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, in Lyon’s Chapel at the Nason Center of Breckenridge Village, 36855 Ridge Road, Willoughby.
Mr. Rispoli passed away July 24, 2015, at his residence in Willoughby with his family at his side.
He was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Cleveland.
Mr. Rispoli was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a fireman with the Cleveland Fire Department for 30 years.
He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Nancy L. (nee Smith) Rispoli; stepfather of Kimberly (Francis) Kingzett and Susan Prygo; cherished grandfather of Dominic Kingzett (Jamie Durosko); great-grandfather of Ryan Peck and Jessica Downing; brother of Vince Rispoli and Anthony Rispoli; brother-in-law of Karen Smith of California; and uncle of nieces and nephews. He also leaves his faithful little canine companion, “Neeco.”
He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Lynn Prygo; parents, Sairno and Perrine (nee Lanadino) Rispoli; sister, Lucille DeAngelo; and brother-in-law, Allen Smith.
A graveside service and burial will follow at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Senior Independence Hospice, 38879 Mentor Ave., Suite A, Willoughby, OH 44094.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
