Obituary for Norma E Occhionero
Funeral Mass for Norma E. (nee Fatica) Occhionero, 87, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Chris Weber will officiate the Mass.
Mrs. Occhionero passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born April 28, 1927, in Willoughby, she had been a lifelong Lake County resident.
Norma was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby and Legend Lake Golf Course. She loved golfing and traveling the world.
She was the dear aunt of Robert J. Fatica and Nancy E. (Christopher) Guillette; sister-in-law of Constance Occhionero; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Leo Occhionero in 2014; parents, Stanislao and Carmella (nee Tizzano) Fatica; sister, Italia; brothers, Meschino Fatica and Sisto A. Fatica; sisters-in-law, Eugenia Fatica and Agnes Hornyak; and brothers-in-law, Edward, Leo and Emil Occhionero.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
