I would have to say one of the many many stories that I have with my grandma would have to be when I was volunteering with the M-O-L Blockwatch Program and we needed people to sign up. My grandma knew how much it meant to me so she walked several miles with me over the course of the weekend to get people to help keep our community safe. We walked so much that we could not stand by the time we got back to the house. When we got back to the house we jumped in the pool to relax out tired legs. When had a very succesful weekend, I remember about 400 people signed up that weekend. The only bad part was having to deliver the placards when they came in. My grandma and I were very close and I will miss her so much, god has gained a wonderful person. I will see you when it is my turn grandma until then keep us all safe and under your wings. You deserve to be out of pain and at rest. R.I.P. love you always and forever your granddaughter Crystal Thomas.
