Marina Lynn  Hersh
Marina Lynn Hersh, 53, of Kirtland, passed away Nov. 6, 2017, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
Born Nov. 6, 1964, in Oklahoma City, Okla., she had been a lifetime Lake County resident.
After graduating from the University of Akron with a degree in social work, Marina worked for Aids Holistic Care and the Salvation Army. She dedicated the last 15 years caring for her youngest daughter, five grandchildren and three elderly family members.
Marina loved gardening and home decorating. Most of all, she loved baking which turned into a small business. She had great passion in everything she did. Marina will be forever loved and missed.
She was the beloved wife of John S. Hersh; loving mother of Celia Hersh and Ashley Heller Marmash; cherished grandmother of Maddy Heller, Lucy Heller, Wade Heller, Leland Heller and Carolina Heller; stepmother of Tony (Elisia) Hersh and their children, Caius and Acacia; James Hersh, and Rob (Liz) Hersh; and sister of Brendan Gren.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a celebration of life service at 7:30 p.m.
