Obituary for Brian Walmsley
A celebration of life for Brian Walmsley, 82, of Gates Mills, will be held at a later date.
Mr. Walmsley passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017, at his son’s residence in Mentor.
He was born Aug. 1, 1934, in Blackburn, England.
Brian served in the British Army. He loved all sports, especially Soccer, rooting for the Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers. He also coached youth soccer for many years and coached soccer for North Olmsted. Briand loved his two boys more than anything and adored his grandsons.
He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. Walmsley; loving father of Barry S. Walmsley of Mentor and Christopher B. (Daria) Walmsley of China; and cherished grandfather of Ryan, Nicholas and Oscar Walmsley.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
