Obituary for Lee R Taylor

Funeral Mass for Lee R. Taylor, 84, of Painesville, will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 27, in the Chapel of St. Gabriel Church, 9935 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township.
Mr. Taylor passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017.
Born March 4, 1933, in Painesville, he had lived in Akron before moving to Lake County six years ago.
Lee was a graduate of Harvey High School, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, and a scorekeeper at Garfield High School.
Mr. Taylor was a PPG retiree.
Survivors are his son, Mike Taylor; daughters, Edith Beck and Mary Taylor; granddaughter, Madeleine Taylor; grandson, Owen Taylor; friends, Kyan Harrold-Timco, Brecklin Harrold-Timco and Shawn Harrold; sister, Janice Chebra; and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Lee William and Ruth (nee McCabe) Taylor; and sister, Peggy Widener.
Following the Mass there will be a Witness of Entombment at 12 noon Monday, March 27, 2017, in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
