Debbie Sue  Williams
Funeral Mass for Debbie S. (nee Heckel) Williams, 64, of Perry, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor.
Mrs. Williams passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at her residence in Perry with her family at her side.
Born Jan. 26, 1952, in Elkins, W.Va., she had been a Lake County resident for the past 57 years, living in Mentor before moving to Perry.
She was a devout Catholic and a loving and vibrant mother and grandmother.
She was the beloved wife of 20 years to Dean Williams; loving mother of Stacy Veigel Perkins (Dave) of Madison, Kelly Veigel and Stephen Bell; stepmother of Lauren Williams Casey (Patrick) and Zachary Williams (Vanessa); cherished grandmother of Mick, Kara, Gavin, Maya, Colin, Rhea and Rhys; loving sister of Richard (Winnie) Heckel, Kitty Eicholtz, Ann Pratt, Tom (Rhonda) Heckel, Hilda Jane Carder, Mary Dulaney, Carolyn (Jim) Szymanski, Danny (Linda) Heckel and Dave (LuAnne) Heckel; and loving aunt of many.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the family.
