Obituary for Catherine Fumich
Celebration of Life services for Catherine (nee Sekula) Fumich, 85, of Willoughby, will be 6:30 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mrs. Fumich passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Nov. 21, 1930, in Charleston, W.Va., she had been a resident of Lake County for 58 years.
Family was her priority. She always put family first. Catherine also loved bingo and enjoyed gambling.
She was the loving mother of Judy Erich, Nancy J. Fumich (Michael Parsons), Michael (Connie) Fumich and Rose (Mike) Johanns; cherished grandmother of Michael R. Johanns, Nicholas M. Fumich and William J. Fumich; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nick Fumich Jr. in 2003; parents, Christie and Anna (nee Shestko) Sekula; and siblings, Mary Wetzel, Pauline Wyzkoski, Frank Sekula and Maggie Galluzzi.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
The family suggests contributions in her name be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
