Funeral Mass for Pattie B. (nee Blanchard) Onofrey, 88, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. (Please meet at church.)
Mrs. Onofrey passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake.
Born April 10, 1928, in Warsaw, N.C., she had been a resident of Lake County for 32 years, living in Willowick before moving to Mentor.
Pattie was a member of St. John Vianney Church and had bowled on the church bowling league.
Mrs. Onofrey had worked as a lab technician at the General Electric before her retirement.
Pattie was the beloved wife of Michael R. Onofrey; loving mother of Sharon (Gary) Zwiezinski; sister of E.L. Blanchard and J.C. Blanchard; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joshua and Margaret (nee Darden) Blanchard; and siblings, Mary Grey Frederick, Louise Frederick, Eugene Blanchard and Linwood Blanchard.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
