Obituary for Keith D Jaranovic
Memorial Mass for Keith D. Jaranovic, 31, of Mentor, will be 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township.
Keith passed away suddenly Oct. 19, 2016.
He was born Oct. 19, 1985.
Keith loved his Cleveland sports teams, especially the Cleveland Browns. His favorite bands were Dave Matthews and Bruce Springsteen. Keith was a graduate of Mentor High School and Cleveland State University with a degree in Math and English.
Keith worked as a Math and English teacher at Horizon Science Academy in Cleveland and bartender at Billy’s Martini Bar in Mentor.
He was the dear son of Eli and Lisa (nee Kowalczyk) Jaranovic; brother of Dave Jaranovic; grandson of Frieda Jaranovic, Betty Domorasky and Christine Kowalczyk; and nephew of Scott (Joan) Kowalczyk, Keith (Wendy) Kowalczyk, John (Dana) Trzaska, and Angie Lovejoy. He also leaves the family’s canine companion, “Bear”; and many friends, as Keith never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dragovan Jaranovic and Ronald Kowalczyk; and uncle, Mike Jaranovic.
Family will receive friends from 12 noon Monday, Oct. 24, until the time of the Mass at the church.
