Obituary for Michelle M Herris
Michelle M. Herris, 25, passed away Friday Oct. 7, 2016.
Michelle was a lover of music, loved to dance, and possessed a true love for life. Michelle enjoyed playing the flute with the Children's Choir at St. Bede's Church during the Christmas season. She graduated from Mentor High School in 2009, and was a 3-year member of the marching band while there.
Michelle received two associate’s degrees and was inducted into the Phi-Theta-Kappa Honor Society before graduating from Lakeland Community College. She went on to earn a third associate’s degree before graduating from Hocking College. Michelle continued her education at CSU; working towards a bachelor's degree in Public Relations.
As a young child, Michelle danced with the Dance Theater of Ohio for eight years. As a young woman, Michelle enjoyed attending concerts of upstart, local musicians.
Michelle was the beloved daughter of Dean E. and Jean M. (nee Jusko) Herris. She was also the blessed niece of many aunts, uncles, cherished cousins and friends.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Rt. 615, north of Rt. 2), Mentor, where a service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be private.
Michelle's family would also like to invite you to help celebrate her life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at 429 Hickory Lane, Painesville 44077.
