Obituary for Sally Theresa Canale
Funeral Mass for Sally Theresa (nee Reardon) Canale, 84, of Willoughby, will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mrs. Canale passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.
Born March 15, 1932, in Sharon, Pa., she had lived in Avondale Estates, Ga., before moving to Lake County.
Sally was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Willoughby, where she was a member of the Ladies Court of Mary and a past treasurer. She was also a treasurer of the ProLife Commission of Immaculate Conception Church and an active member of Immaculate Conception Adoration Chapel. Sally was also a supporter of Lake County Right to Life Advocacy and member of the Family Life Commission.
She was the loving mother of Colleen F. (Richard) Canale-Reilly, Edward R. (Lynn) Canale, Ronald M. Canale (Robin Hajes), Raymond L. (Kathy) Canale, and Mary I. (S.J.) Canele-Sanders; cherished grandmother of 15; great-grandmother of 24; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Leo H. and Mary C. (nee Malia) Reardon; and siblings, James F. Reardon, John E. Reardon, Rosemary D. Dach, Betty Ann Songer, Dolores M. Reardon, Catherine N. Weirick, Leo W. Reardon, Mary C. Reardon, Edward A. Reardon, Daniel M. Reardon and Patrick D. Reardon.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hermitage, Pa.
