Obituary for Richard Vojtek McCall

Richard Vojtek McCall, 83, of Madison, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at the Cleveland Veteran’s Hospital in Cleveland.
Born June 17, 1933, in Cleveland, he had lived in Sarasota, Fla., before moving to Madison 11 years ago.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving with the 101st Airborne and a 1951 graduate of Brush High School, where he was a member of the Brush High Basketball team. He also loved playing golf with his brothers.
Mr. McCall was the husband of Cari M. (nee Foley) McCall; father of Sally and Gus; stepfather of Brian Gamber (Phyllis Spencer); brother of James J. (Marilyn) Vojtek and Joseph T. (Bonnie) Vojtek; brother-in-law of Rosemary Vojtek; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Mr. McCall was preceded in death by his daughter, Cathy; parents, Joseph A. and Mary (nee Kardamis) Vojtek; and brother, William J. Vojtek.
Family will receive friends 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, where a prayer service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of the Cleveland Veteran’s Hospital and suggests contributions in his name be made to V.A. Hospice, c/o Louis Stokes VA Hospital, 10701 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
