Obituary for Jody A Brooks
Jody A. Brooks, 56, of Madison, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016, at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Born Nov. 28, 1959, in Willoughby, she had been a Lake County resident for the past 32 years.
Jody was a retired employee of Lake Health West Medical Center, where she had worked for 24 years in medical records and in the hospital cafeteria. She loved cooking.
Jody was the beloved wife of 32 years to David W. Brooks; loving mother of James W. (Rachel) Brooks; cherished grandmother of Isabella and Adeline; daughter of Frances (nee Catalano) Starks; sister of Roy (Kim) Starks and Mamie (John) Novakovich; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Starks.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, where a Celebration of Life will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be private.
