Funeral Mass for Kasmera R. Pietrzyk, 98, of Concord Township, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Mentor.
Mrs. Pietrzyk passed away Friday, July 15, 2016, at Heartland of Mentor.
Born June 26, 1918, in Cleveland, she had lived in Russell Township before moving to Lake County 20 years ago, living in Concord Township.
She was a member of St. Gabriel Church, where she was active in the Mission Circle. She was also an active member of the Democratic Club, Red Hatters and Concord Senior Center.
Kasmera was partner with her husband, Edward (who was a veteran of World War II and recipient of five Bronze Stars), in the K & P Machining Company.
She was the loving mother of Art (Doreen) Pietrzyk, Luci Pietrzyk and Marlene Pietrzyk (Randy Caldwell); cherished grandmother of Cary (Konrad) Bohm, Lauren Heuer and Joseph Pietrzyk; and great-grandmother of Kevin and Chris Bohm.
Kasmera was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward John Pietrzyk in 1994; daughter, Carolyn Pietrzyk; and parents, Frank and Mary (nee Pawlowski) Klag.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Russell Township.
