Funeral Mass Eileen M. (nee Luskin) Szolnoki, 84, of Mentor, 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Mrs. Szolnoki passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Heartland of Willoughby.
Born Nov. 5, 1931, in Barberton, she had been a resident of Lake County for the past 20 years.
Eileen was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Mentor and Civil Air Patrol, a former member of St. Aloysius Church in Cleveland, and a graduate of St. Aloysius Grade School and Ursuline Sacred Heart Academy in East Cleveland.
Mrs. Szolnoki was a former 20-year employee of F.W. Woolworth’s, 30-year manager of the Gift Stores at Cleveland Hopkins Airport, and from 2000-2003 helped her brother, John at the Irish Shamrock Cottage in Mentor.
She was the dear sister of John M. Luskin; aunt of John M. (Bonnie) Luskin Jr., David E. (Karen) Luskin, Margaret A. (Donald) Dukes and Edward F. (Karen) Luskin; and great-aunt of Alex, Jessica and Danny.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, David and Margaret A. (nee Tracey) Luskin.
Family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 8, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
