Dorothy Jane  Snyder (Sparks)
A Celebration of Life Service for Dorothy Jane Snyder (nee Sparks), 79, of Eastlake, will be
7:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby (located
on the grounds of the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home).
Dorothy passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at Lake Health West Medical Center
in Willoughby.
Born March 19, 1937 in Painesville, she had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Dorothy was a former member of the Willoughby Eagles.
She had retired from BestCast in Willoughby after 37 years of employment.
Dorothy was the loving mother of John R. “Jack” (Deborah) Snyder, Grace L. (George)
Helsius, Jeff M. Dill and Polly A. (Jim Gibson) Dill; cherished grandmother of 17 and great-
grandmother of 15; sister of Mary Lou Taylor and Cyrena Cupp; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Grace (nee Bauder) Sparks; brothers, John “Mick” Sparks and Robert Sparks; and sister, Sally Ann Peel.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at The Abbey. Burial will be at
Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made in care of the family.
