Obituary for David Allen Mance
Funeral Mass for David Allen Mance, 54, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor, OH 44060.
Mr. Mance passed away Jan. 19, 2016, at his residence.
Born Nov. 11, 1961, in Euclid, he had been a resident of Lake County for the past 42 years.
He loved all sports, enjoyed hunting and was devoted to his family and friends, especially his good buddies, Nick and Rick.
Mr. Mance worked as a barber/stylist at Pierre’s in Mentor and NES in Solon. He was also the former owner of Essence Hair Salon in Mentor.
He was the loving brother of Louis T. Mance of Willoughby, Robert K. (Diane) Mance of Willoughby, Gerald E. (Diane) Mance of Bainbridge, Terry L. Mance of Willowick; brother-in-law of Glenn Smith; uncle of many; dear friend of Rick and Nick Powall; and former husband of Cindy Ruggerio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Leona Mance; sister, Judith L. Smith; and brother, Kenneth W. Mance.
Family will receive friends from 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lifebanc, 4775 Richmond Road, Cleveland, OH 44128, or The American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Road, Suite 440, Independence, OH 44131.
