The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Dineen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

What Jack viewed as most important

One day after work Jack invited me over to his house.  A house he dubbed decorated in "early divorce".  In this house, in a a back bedroom Jack had made a "trophy room".  All the walls were covered in framed ceritificates.  Many showing shools and classes he had attended.  Accolates and certificates of appreciation.  But on one wall, in the center of all of these other frames was one that said "To the greatest dad in the world."  This was the one he was most touched by.  The one that meant so much more to him than anything he may have ever done as cop.  He was proudest of his girls more than anything.

Many stories can be told, but for me, this one will now and forever describe the man I knew.  To my onetime partner, HEE HARG Jack.  Rest In Peace.
