Bonnie Lee  Acebal
Bonnie Lee (Chakvary) Acebal, 70, of Willoughby, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, with her family by her side.
She was born April 28, 1945, in Cleveland.
Bonnie had a big heart, a fiery spirit, and a wild sense of humor. She loved to travel, read, and crochet. She will be remembered by her family for her devoted love, laughter, and generosity.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Douglas F. Acebal; children, Kelly Riley (Dennis Opsitnik) and Sheri Martini; stepchildren, Sheryl Panagio, Jeannette Acebal, and Douglas J. Acebal; grandchildren that she loved so very much, Syona Martini, Charlie Martini, Lillian Opsitnik, Crystina Dilley, Corie Acebal, Nicole Dozanti, Samantha Acebal, Jamie Betti, Nick Panagio, Mariah Panagio, Anthony Panagio, Zoe Panagio, and Adam Panagio; six great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Jean Young; and her beloved dog, Pepper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Marie Chakvary.
A private service will be held on a date to be determined.
Bonnie loved all animals and pet rescue was very important to her, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Road, Novelty, OH 44072.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
