Obituary for Marjorie L Bolek
Funeral services for Marjorie L. Bolek, 96, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
Mrs. Bolek passed away Friday Oct. 9, 2015, at Governor’s Village in Mayfield.
She was born June 19, 1919, grew up in Chagrin Falls, and had lived in the Mayfield/Lyndhurst area for most of her lifetime.
Marjorie was a great mother and a friend to all.
She was the loving mother of Lynne M. (Gerald) Gray of Mentor, Frank J. (Kathy) Bolek Jr. of Willoughby Hills, and Mary B. (Edward) Zeitz of Richmond Heights; and cherished grandmother of Frankie Bolek and Anna Bolek.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank J. Bolek; husband, William Law; son, Jeffrey F. Bolek; parents, William and Althea (nee Burkett) Lehman; and sister, Geraldine Bowers.
Family will receive friends at 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at The Abbey of Willoughby. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Chagrin Falls.
The family suggests contributions in her name be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110, or The Cleveland Food Bank, 15500 South Waterloo Road, Cleveland, OH 44110.
