Obituary for Gina M Burdick
Funeral Mass for Gina M. Burdick, 56, of Willoughby, will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mrs. Burdick passed away Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born April 23, 1959, in Indiana, Pa., she had been a resident of Lake County for 41 years, living in Willoughby.
Gina enjoyed cooking, cleaning and making pasta. Family was her number one priority and she was a proud mom of seven. Gina was a “Rebel Mom,” modern day mom, member of the PTA, and proud to be a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She had the biggest heart and was compassionate, selfless and strong.
She was the beloved wife of 31 years to Scott A. Burdick; loving mother of Jenna L. (Matthew) Burke, Christina M. (Jeremy) Hehmeyer, Kelly A. Burdick (fiancé, Jeff Sabo), Alexandria L. Burdick, Marisa R. Burdick, Kaitlyn E. Burdick and Landon S. Burdick; “Gigi” of Hunter and Gianna; daughter of Ethel “Mickey” Lundberg; sister of Michael Lundberg and Jeffrey (Sherry) Lundberg; and aunt of many.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bud Lundberg.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory are suggested in care of the family.
