Obituary for Marion A "Mickey" Flowers

Celebration of Life services for Marion A. “Mickey” (nee Urquhart) Flowers, 85, of Olmsted Falls, will be 7:30 p.m. Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mrs. Flowers passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, at her residence.
Born Nov. 11, 1929, in Cleveland, she had lived in Cleveland, East Cleveland and Euclid before moving to Olmsted Falls.
Mickey was a member of Euclid Democrats Club, where she served as vice president, Alanon, Irish American Club East Side Inc., and a former member of St. Aloysius Church in Cleveland, Christ the King Church in East Cleveland and St. William’s Church in Euclid.
She was the loving mother of Colleen A. Flowers (Robert McClusky), George P. (Leslie) Flowers Jr., Daniel P. Flowers, Carrie Lynn Flowers, Shawn P. (Noreen) Flowers, Kevin W. Flowers and Kelly Ann Flowers; cherished grandmother of Kaylee Marie, Matthew, Nicholas, Meghan, Alexandra, Sarah, Quinn and Amelia; and sister of Bettie (Jack) Schneider and John (Bette) Urquhart.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George P. “Pepper” Flowers in 1992; and parents, William and Margaret (nee McGill) Urquhart.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
